Holiday Mindfulness

Hey with the holidays upon us please be mindful of your kids especially the little ones. Everyone is so excited to see the newest editions. Just cause the family may be excited doesn't mean your little one is. It's ok to want to hold your baby while he or she is fussy. Do so cause your baby is crying for you to come and get them. Saying I need a break and bring me some comfort. New sights, sounds, and people can be too much for small children and babies. Sometimes, I arrive late and leave early with my little ones not to over simulate them. And when they get too fussy I go to a quiet place to disconnect and refocus that energy whether it's for a feeding, mental break, or a nap. Once, I know they are ok and have been recharged we return to the festivities. Hopefully, these tips can you for the holiday season. Seasons greetings everyone!
