Get it Started!

I couldn't wait to get my blog started! I figured I would get everything together just right by the way it looks but I think I finally realized that I was ready to write instead! Even though waiting to get everything together just right like the way I want it was the route that I was trying to take. Call me a little of a perfectionist. Okay not really but I just like things a certain way. Probably by the time you read this I would have already gotten the Cita blog just the way I wanted it. Guess it's time to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Cita. My age (we'll talk about that later!) ok... I'm 29, my relationship status is married (so... sorry fellas), and I currently do not have any kids but my baby is my sweet Fox Terrier and Rat Terrier mix Pixie. My mission and purpose for this blog is to express my enthusiasm and curiosity for health, fitness, fashion, and beauty. I am on a journey for a better me and I hope you enjoy the process.

Can we talk for a second? So, I just so happened to be on  Pinterest  and this picture of a lip balm crossed my screen. It was the  Shea Moisture Shea Butter Vegan Lip Balm  in Coconut & Hibiscus and African Water Mint & Ginger. Pause. I must get it... both flavors... I then check on Target & Walmart to see if I can get it in store. Yes, I can. I purchased it from my local Walmart and couldn't be any happier. Open it up apply it to my lips. What is that smell? The taste... What the heck is in this lip balm? Can I be honest for a second? I don't like it. Ok, don't get the pitch forks out just yet. I'm a Shea Moisture fanatic. Shea Moisture is always my go to, my wishlist, my it gets me every time Walgreen's has a bogo sale. But, here me out for a second. Hello July: Well Wishes and Thoughts

Hello July and loves, I hope everything is well and July is being the best to you. We have officially made it through two birthdays and 4th of July. Bash's birthday was a success. Everyone had a good time. We were able to celebrate Sly's birthday with a impromptu BBQ. I'm a little disappointed that he had to cook on his birthday and not to mention I wasn't able to be much help because I had to work. We were able to enjoy everyone's company in coming together to celebrate life's moments and make memories. We literally drank for 5 days straight! Talk about a good time! Fourth of July was good because I got to see it through the eyes of my son who was finally old enough to see fireworks. He truly enjoyed it and I enjoyed seeing the excitement he had seeing them. Hello September

Hey Loves,  I do hope that everything is well with you all.  I hope your September is starting out well and your August ended the way you needed it to. August for me was definitely a very busy month. It started with a world wind of things going on. We were able to see and spend time with family which is always plus in my book and travel. Stories about that to come later. The start of September has been productive. I've started to throw things away and clean my house trying to prepare for the winter months to come. I'm not ready for it to get cold but it's coming. We celebrate my brother and nieces birthday. I was even enlisted to make Jell-O shots. That will be up on the channel for Cocktail Friday's this month. I'm glad Mercury is out of retrograde because maybe now I can get some things accomplished. For a brief period of time I felt like I couldn't complete anything.
