A Week in My Life: Take Care of Yourself

I’m a little late with this week’s blog post. Well, I am later than I would like to be. I like to have the blog posts out earlier in the week to give you something to read and later in the week something for you to view. And sometimes I just have to let the expectations go because I may have wanted to have the blog post out earlier in the week I am still making a post this week or so I thought. It’s a whole new week now. Since I started back up vlogging and blogging I have been consistent and I want to keep that momentum going. So, I wasn’t expecting to not be feeling well last week and how it shifted my whole week. I woke up Tuesday with my back hurting. I dropped the boys off at school and took the truck to the shop. While sitting the chair the pain in my lower back drifted up my back. After leaving instead of running all the errands I had planned on I ended up just going and laying down. How A Setback Can Put You in Proper Alignment

I woke up with a cold sore last week Friday and I was filled with so many emotions none of which were happy. I was upset with the fact that I didn’t think the day prior was that stressful but my body told me otherwise. I was upset because that meant I let an event get to me that much that the stress caused this to happen. But, I hadn’t eaten the best that week I had been reminded that I had eaten McDonald’s twice that week (which is something I normally don’t do), my upcoming cycle didn’t help the situation either and the life event was just probably the icing on the cake.   I was disappointed to say the least but I had to sit with the thought of everything happens for a reason. The longer I sat with it the more I thought about how I hadn’t been taking care of myself like I really should in a while now.
