Hotel Exchange Review

Image
The Hotel Exchange is located in Amsterdam. The fashion hotel with rooms dressed like models. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station, boat rides, shopping, the Sex Museum, and the Red Light District. That was just a few things we did since we were so close to everything in walking distance. Hotel Amenities Complimentary wifi, soap, and shampoo. For other things you may have forgotten or didn't think about like a outlet power converter the sold in a vending machine on the second floor. There was another vending machine that sold snacks and water. They supplied a free map of things to do in the area. Lounge Space at the Hotel The Exchange Lounge space. The elevator is big enough for 2 people with not a lot of luggage. The hubs and I almost didn't fit and we had backpacks! Well, there were 2 elevators in the hotel. One going from the main floor where you check in at to the lounge area on the second floor and the other elevator taking you to the re

I Am Me. What's your Super Power?

Knowing your worth and or capabilities.  Knowing that I am loving, happy, kind, and my compassion for people will not change with a strong work ethic is what is going to make me succeed in life.  I was and still am working with individuals that wasn’t happy and they would be mean and treat me according to their mean ways.  Pushing their unhappiness onto me.  Pushing their unkindness on me.  Pushing their uncompassionate ways on me.  Evening pushing their fear upon me.  And me not realizing it I accepted what they were giving me. With that had me focusing on the what is wrong with me? Come to find out there is nothing wrong with me. Being me is my super power. What’s yours? And being me, I know that I can’t go wrong.  I even accepted the fear of losing my job and not being able to find another one. So, I put up with a lot of what they were giving me. Even when apply for jobs within the company and them telling me that I didn’t have the experience. I focused on the what was wron

Hello November

Hey, loves I hope this month is treating you well. I want to wish you a happy, healthy, and productive month with lots of fun.Things are going pretty good for me.  We just wrapped up swim class for the boys and I’m glad it’s over. It was a waste of money and I don’t like wasting money. The weekend is for family. Our weekends are usually busy and I knew we would have to have our  Sunday’s  restricted. Well, my husband didn’t realize it was going to take up his football  Sunday . Being out of the country, nephews birthday, and colds interfered with making it to swim class. I will never book a weekend class for them again. They had 8 classes and I think the baby made it to half of the classes. Talk about being disappointed. I will pick the classes during the week like I did last time and it will work just fine for us. The hubs doesn't want the boys to take swim class during the winter months seeing how it can lead to the possibility of them getting sick. They have already relea

Brussels 2017

Image
After leaving Amsterdam we took a train to Brussels. We made it there later in the afternoon because we missed our preferred time for the train. We made it all the way to the station, to the track, where the train was at to press the button for the door not to open, for it to leave. We arrived in Brussels and walked from the train station taking in the sights of the city to our Air BnB apartment. We asked our host what was a good place to eat around here. She suggested we try this French restaurant for a nice meal. Once, settled we made our way to the restaurant. We made our way in and walk right past the maitre d not knowing who he was because he was talking to people. He stops us by calling to us in French and later in the English then later seats us. He brought us the menus and they were in French. We didn't sit long before the maite d came back stating that the only menus they had were in French and saying that he'll help us out by telling what they offered and we cou

Hotel Metro Review

Hey loves, Just like I promised a video for Travel Tuesdays! It's a review of our stay when we went to London, Canada. Hotel Metro is a boutique hotel, that has 4 floors, 7 rooms on each floor. The lobby was beautifully decorated and I loved the little touches they had like the ramp for your luggage and the complimentary infused water. The fruit infused water was different every day. We went to London to celebrate our friend Frazier's birthday. Our friends stayed in the King Suite, it was a large spacious room, with a chair, flat screen TV, desk, large ottoman at the foot of the bed, coffee area, that had a jetted, soaker tub, rain shower, and a separate private toilet. Their room had a view of the outside where you could see the festival going on out front. Since, it was Frazier's birthday they gave him a complimentary bottle of wine. Picture taken inside of the Hotel Metro, King Suite  Sly and I stayed in the Queen Suite. The Queen Suite had a couch, des

My Weekend and Day Update 11/6

Hey loves, I hope you guys had a great weekend! I had plans for this weekend to be a productive weekend of writing and that didn’t happen. It was in fact a lazy weekend for us and I’m ok with that. There is always something for us to do on the weekend so to be able to kinda lounge around the house actually worked for us. I say kinda because the boys both had a runny nose  Saturday  and by  Sunday  the baby was better but my oldest was worse. No one really slept well that night but my oldest spent the day getting some much needed rest. I actually got to watch some junk tv this weekend! I don’t watch much tv anymore with being busy with the boys, work, or the channel. And I’ll take spending time with my boys anytime than watching tv. It was a rainy weekend as well so the lack of motivation to leave wasn’t there. Which means I’ll probably have to do everything during the week since I didn’t do it over the weekend. I did manage to take the baby to swim class yesterday. One more class
