Mommy Corner Monday: Britax Car Seat Recall

Hey mommies! Britax is having a recall on its car seats stating that the chest piece can be a choking hazard. Britax is recalling 200,000 of its car seats. The car seat models in this recall are B-Safe 35, B-Safe 35 Elite, BOB B-Safe 35 including travel systems made from November 1, 2015-May 31, 2017. If you have registered your car seat with Britax the company will be sending you a replacement kit to fix the chest piece. What I Learned About Myself in My Yoga Practice

I've been doing yoga. I like to consider myself a yoga novice. I’ve a yoga to say the least I follow all types of yoga stuff on social media. I love it because it helps my mind, body, and spirit. It's a full body workout. Yoga always seems to teach me something about myself. Today it taught me to be patient with myself. I don't expect to do any of these moves out the gate. But, it's allowing me to be learn this new body I'm in. I was watching everyone around me do a move and I was trying to understand how to do it. So, I asked the instructor after class about the move. This is why I love the place I go she broke it down to me on how to do the move. She did tell me over time I would get stronger and be able to lift myself. When this particular move was introduced to me I was pregnant so I couldn't even participate in learning the move. Just like last week, I asked one of my other instructors about my side plank. Teething Sucks and Two New Tips to Help

I spent this past weekend holding a teething little person who was not happy about it. I agree with his ability to be irritable and fuss because he had a fever and just wanted to be held by mommy for comfort. He was still a trooper trying to play then deciding he wasn't having it. He gave a few little smiles but wasn't his happy normal self. Even though I had been through it once before this weekend reminded me that I hated teething and it sucks. I couldn't remember any of the tricks or tips when I went through it the first time but cool baths, ice, cold face cloth in the freezer, and Tylenol. I barely remembered that! Cool baths and Tylenol was the only thing I could remember when his temperature had gotten so high. My husband and I don't care to give the medication unless necessary.
